Pryor remain the only marking/traceability company in the industry capable of developing, manufacturing and supporting marking, verification and reading systems for direct part mark traceability. In 2003 Pryor acquired Absolute Vision Ltd, combining Pryor’s extensive knowledge of direct part marked 2D codes with Absolute Visions expertise in industrial vision systems. This unique in-depth engineering expertise allows us to develop the most advanced directly marked Data Matrix readers and verifiers, to adapt our standard products to your needs or to integrate complete traceability solutions.
Data Matrix Readers & Verifiers DataMouse™ Pro
Powerful Direct Part Mark Data Matrix reader in a cost effective package
The DataMouse Pro has been developed specifically to read the toughest Data Matrix direct part marks (DPM). The DataMouse ‘on contact’ approach blocks out ambient light and sets the optimum focus. This allows the intelligent multi angle, multi intensity lighting to create the best real-time on-screen image possible for Data Matrix decoding.
The DataMouse™ connects to a PC/Laptop via the USB2.0 connector and requires no external power supply making a laptop connected DataMouse™ a truly portable solution.
Features
Compact, Lightweight & Ergonomic design.
Multi Angle, Multi Intensity Automatic and programmable Lighting
Real-time on-screen video display
Powerful low contrast Data Matrix decode algorithms
USB2.0 PC interface
High Resolution 5 Mega-Pixel CMOS imager, for reading very small codes.
Built-in IUID MIL130-STD syntax checker.
Capable of reading Data Matrix marks applied using various marking methods
1. Dot Peen
2. Laser
3. Electro-chemical etching
4. Ink-Jet
5. Printed Labels
6. Any other high contrast marking or printing methods
The PC software ‘Medusa™ 4’ features a powerful decode engine which allows the decoded information to be modified and transferred in the following ways.
Display on screen with decode history screen
Keyboard Wedge (Simply types the information at the PCs cursor)
Write to file (Append, overwrite or new file every time
Write to Database using ODBC connection string and SQL
Write to RS232 port
